Steve Hayes and Liam Hanlon from Tri-4-life, after successfully summiting Mount Everest and Kilimanjaro are taking on Aconcagua another of the Seven Summits, at 6,961 meters, Aconcagua is the highest peak in the world outside the Himalayas. With its bone-chilling temperatures and punishing altitude, it presents a brutal and unforgiving challenge in every sense and promises to be yet another unforgettable adventure in remembrance and friendship. Whilst attempting the climb we would like to raise funds for the Southport Lifeboat. The Southport Lifeboat is run by the Southport Offshore Rescue Trust, are independent of the RNLI and receive no government or regular external funding. Being independent means that the Trust is responsible for all of its own financing and fundraising and needs to raise £70,000 annually to keep the boat on station. The crew, including myself, commit their time and effort freely, they receive no payment at all, it’s completely voluntary. To see more about the charity follow attached link, If you be able to sponsor us, please send a donation. Many thanks.
